Remember Hill's Drug Store
on the East Side of the Square

Walter Siegesmund with two clerks in Hill's in the 1950's

Walter was the pharmacist for Hill's Drug Store in the early 1950's.  He resided in Croton until his death in 1955.  Glenna Ruth Goodyear is on the left and  Susie Bergandine on the right.

Lawrence and Gladys Hill bought Main's Drug Store at 20 S. Vernon   Street where there had been a Drug Store since Anderson built the building after the fire which destroyed his wooden structure.  The Hills continued the business until purchasing the Hoke Electric Store on Granville Street and moving the Drug Store to that location.  Eventually they sold the business to Dan and Joan Shaw.
