Patrick, PFC Robert Patrick  (b. 1898, d. 1985) Enlisted in National Guard on June 18, 1917 in Delaware, Ohio; Served in Company K 4th Infantry Ohio National Guard (Co. K 166 Infantry) to discharge; Private First Class on October 8, 1917; Champagne-Marne; Aisne-Marne; St. Mihiel; Meuse-Argonne; Defensive Sector; American Expeditionary Forces October 31, 1917 to April 25, 1919; Postmaster Company K; Honorable Discharge May 17, 1919; Buried in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Needles, Merrill  (b.1895-1932. Enlisted in National Guard June 15, 1916 in Bucyrus, Ohio;  Served in Company A, 8th Infantry, Ohio National Guard to August 12, 1918; Company A, 4th Infantry, Ohio National Guard (Company A, 166th Infantry to discharge; Served at Champagne-Marne, Aisne-Marne, Meuse-Argonne, and St. Mihiel; Defensive Sector; Wounded in action slightly July 27, 1918’ American Expeditionary Force October 14, 1917 to February 11, 1919’ Honorable Discharge February 22, 1919; Native of Olive Green and served in World War I; nephew of Lethco Wilcox and cousin of Bernice Wilcox; Received a military headstone;  Buried in Stark Cemetery.

Blackledge, Private Glenn E.  (b. 1896, d. 1977) Enlisted May 5, 1917 at Delaware in Ohio National Guard; Served in San Detachment 4th Infantry Ohio National Guard; Headquarter Medical Department 166th Infantry to discharge; Champagne-Marne; Aisne-Marne; Defensive Sector; Wounded in action slightly July 30, 1918; American Expeditionary Forces October 18, 1917-April 25, 1919; Honorable Discharge May 17, 1919; Died in Arizona.

Hunt, Private Harry (b. 1897, d. 1918) Enlisted in National Army August 24, 1918 at Delaware, Ohio; Served in 40 Company of 159th Depot Brigade to death; Died at age 21 of influenza and bronchial pneumonia on October 17, 1918 in Jefferson County, Kentucky; Was Porter Township resident.

Shoaf, PFC Hugh H.  (b. 1890, d. 1970)  Enlisted on March 11, 1918 in National Army at Columbus, Ohio; Served in 11th Company Coast Artillery Corps, Fort Monroe, Virginia to July 12, 1918l 39th Battery 4A Sector to discharge; Private First Class December 1, 1918; Anmerican Expeditionary Forces October 6, 1918 to January 12, 1919; Honorable Discharge January 30, 1919; Porter Township Resident; Buried in Greenlawn Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio.
