Twenty Prove Ancestors were Pioneers

For almost a year, a group of researchers met in the Myers Inn to share their finds and disappointments in locating documentation to prove their ancestors were pioneers of Delaware County.  Under the leadership of Suzanne Allen and Ken Crowl, the right information was found, forms completed and submitted.  On May 8th, 2010, Certificates and pins were awarded to those who completed the research.

Robert Messmore, of Xenia, worked with the Myers Inn group via email.  He is a gold descendant of Aaron Welch, John Ross and Loretta Welch.

Sisters Mary Elaine Ebert and Suzanne Stentz are gold descendants of Daniel Green Thurston, Frances Thayer, Vinal Stewart Thurston and Thomas Barton.  They are silver descendants og Ann Plant, Mary Elizabeth Thurston, Sarah Jenkins, and James Barton.
