Field Trip to Meeker House |

On August 23, 2014, some members of the Big Walnut Area Historical
Society were guests of the Delaware County Historical Society for a
tour of the Meeker House and Barn at 2690 Stratford Road and the
Nash House and Cryder Research Center on East William Street. In front of the Meeker House pictured above left to right is the representative of Garth's who is still using the facility until 2015, Alan and Carol Norris, Alice Chapan, Damon Bower (President of BWAHS), Roger Koch (Meeker House Curator) Mrs. Button, Alice Lacher, Jane Cook, Brent Carson (President of DCHS), Dave Williams, Maria and Sheldon Lacher, Not pictured are Eva Jane Williams and Polly Horn. Following a tour of the house and barn the group went to the Crider Research Museum and the Nash House with Maggie Webb curator. |
